LO SIENTO TODOS!!!

Disculpa, lo siento. Ah I have been missing writing to you for way too long. Basically I have been just practicing living life as a spaniard. How to make coffee, eat olive oil with everything, wear a coat even though its blazing hot outside. But even though there are a lot of differences, we are all just people. Last week Heather, Chenoa and I sat at the steps of the Cathedral and played "is that person american or native?" the biggest thing that gave it away (besides funky cool style) was that us Americans rush everywhere. We play with our phones, rush by and dont take time to look around or just sit and enjoy the beautiful day. But this trip has really made me more calm about everything.. no need to rush no need to worry about petty things, ya se cabo!
Anywho what have I been up to besides stalking hmmm... GRANADA Y AFRICA!!! Starting with Granada, I love it. If I couldve studied there I wouldve. (sorry Sevilla) So first we decided to find La Alhambra, which is a fortress built back in the day that is muy grande. It was a little complicated but thanks to google maps we made it there. But my legs still cry from all the mountains we climbed.. then had to go down because we forgot to buy tickets and then re-climb. They only let a certain number of people into the palaces for an hour so while we waited we drank the best coffee from a vending machine. Forget expensive starbucks this was 1,20! Anywho we went into the palaces and had to wear our backpacks in front like nerds. Chenoa wanted a picture of herself walking through a door and it was the most complicated thing ever. My favorite exhibit was the lion fountain (SIR FIDEL) but we couldnt take pictures I was sad ): my second favorite was the HUGE quatrafoil fountain which I jumped over bushes to pose next to! I am a bad influence though a little girl did the same thing after I did... After that we just walked around and climbed to pretty much the tippy top of Granada. But I got scared cause it was starting to get like "The Hills Have Eyes." We bought icecream (of course) and then proceeded to window shop! Here are some gorgeous photos!

To be continued..... AFRICAAA
Besos para todos!!
